The Hofmann horizontal balancing machine provides rigid measuring system accuracy in a versatile platform, offering unrivaled value in the industry. Mitchell and Son's machine was special built to cover a wide range of parts-from your smallest most intricate parts, to parts as large as 69" in diameter and up to 212" long, with a maximum weight of 10,000 lbs. The Hard Bearing Balancing Machine can be configured as a single plane static or couple balance machine and a two-plane dynamic balance machine with permanent calibration.

Two Plane Balancing Machine

The rigid hard bearing measuring system has permanent calibration and two planes' dynamic balancing capability. The single plane static/couple balance can be performed. A multiple-output (5hp) servo motor allows for very large loads or high production rates. Precision end thrusts assure proper positioning of work piece while measuring.
